| Briefly, with the engine upgrade installed and the unit now broken in (over 300 miles on cylinder upgrade..), my oldest Son is well pleased with the Nitro 50. Getting to 50 mph is now no problem. It is still "doggish" on hills and moving away from traffic lights. Nonetheless, it is a wonderful, high quality machine. | I recently purchased a Sport 50. In comparison with the Honda 49 CC sold locally in my area, the Sport 50 is $800 cheaper, has more storage capacity, can accommodate a passenger, has more accessories, and overall is a far superior scooter. The Sport 50 is not a racing machine - slow on acceleration, but rides smoothly and cruises at 35 MPH without a problem. It is definitely a head turner (good looking scooter) and I have already had people ask me where I got it and how much it cost. I purchased a car carrier for my scooter, which is a separate accessory, but it did not come with installation instruction. It requires modifications to the scooter carrier frame and car carrier itself in order for it to be installed properly. Not a difficult thing to do, but does require drilling some holes in the right spot. The service I received from the sales department was nothing less than superb. Mark was helpful with anything I needed and always had answers to my questions (just like radio shack). He even responded during the weekend. I am sure I will be happy with my scooter and glad I looked around before buying something less in quality for more money.

| ...By the way, my 2 Avispas still get raves from all who see them and hear the price, shipping charges, etc. A place in town sells a 2-stroke scooter similar to the Scorpione (I believe its an ETON) for about $1700 - $1800 -- so ScootsUSA more than beats the competition. And service is great -- when we first bought the Scooters we had some issues with fuel pump, carburetor and got prompt, friendly expedited service. Mark was great to work with and returns calls, answered questions and concerns with clarity and precision. |
